The Victorian and NSW State Governments will end their Solar Bonus Schemes on December 31, 2016.
What’s changing in Victoria?
The Victorian government has confirmed they are ending the Transitional Feed-in Tariff (TFIT) and Standard Feed-in Tariff (SFIT) Schemes on December 31, 2016. The solar buyback rate that customers currently receive from the Victorian government (25c/kWh) will be removed.
EnergyAustralia will offer a 5c/kWh (ex-GST) retailer-funded feed-in tariff from January 1, 2017.

What’s changing in New South Wales?
The New South Wales State Government has confirmed they are ending the NSW Solar Bonus Scheme on December 31, 2016. The solar buyback rates (either 20c/kWh or 60c/kWh) will be discontinued as of this date.
EnergyAustralia will offer a 6.1c/kWh (ex-GST) retailer-funded feed-in tariff as of January 1, 2017.
