At Conxxion, we’re dedicated to strengthening communities and supporting those in need. Through our partnership with Foodbank Australia, we’re committed to raising awareness and taking action to combat hunger.
This week, a group of Conxxion Head Office Team members and IBOs spent the day volunteering at the Foodbank NSW & ACT warehouse in is Glendenning. Foodbank NSW & ACT distributes food to charities that provide approximately 400,000 meals per week to families in need, and volunteers are critical to helping them achieve this result.1 The Conxxion team were able to help with packing food and grocery orders to distribute to feed those in need. In the morning, our team came together to pack 880 school bag hampers, ensuring that children will have access to breakfast and snacks over the weekend. In the afternoon, we packed an incredible 1,062.3 kg of food for community centres across NSW, helping to provide a total 1,294 meals to those in need across the day. It was an incredible opportunity to roll up our sleeves, support an amazing cause, and make a real difference in the community!
We have been a regular Foodbank supporter since 2015, raising more than $100,000 since the start of our partnership and donating more than 200,000 meals to people in need.
